Felison Cruise Terminal IJmuiden
Cruise ships generally dock at Felison Cruise Terminal IJmuiden in the morning. At that time of day, traffic on the A9 highway toward Amsterdam Airport Schiphol can be extremely heavy. During traffic congestion, the highway may come almost to a standstill, and there is usually no practical alternative route. Only in cases of exceptionally severe congestion is a detour likely to save time.
When booking your flight, we therefore recommend allowing approximately one hour for the transfer from IJmuiden to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This does not include the additional time required at the airport for check-in, security screening, and passport control, when applicable. Your driver will monitor current traffic conditions and select the fastest available route on the day of travel.
Fixed Fare From Felison Cruise Terminal IJmuiden To Schiphol
The following fixed fares apply to a private transfer between Felison Cruise Terminal IJmuiden and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol:
- Tesla: €60
- Minivan: €75

Customized Cruise Transfer To Schiphol
When Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is the final port of a cruise, passengers do not all leave the ship at the same time. Disembarkation takes place in groups, and a considerable amount of time may pass between the first group and the final passengers collecting their luggage. The ship’s scheduled arrival time is therefore not necessarily a reliable pickup time.
Do you have an early flight, an assigned disembarkation time, or other special circumstances? Contact us in advance. Based on your cruise ship, flight details, number of passengers, and luggage, we will determine whether a customized arrangement is possible.
This could include a flexible pickup time, direct contact with your driver during disembarkation, or a transfer to an Amsterdam hotel followed by a transfer to Schiphol the next day. Not every situation fits our standard procedures, but exceptions may be possible when a clear arrangement that works for both parties can be agreed in advance.
Minimum Fares For Trips From Passenger Terminal Amsterdam
For trips within Amsterdam departing from Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, the following minimum fares apply:
- Tesla: €30
- Minivan: €40
For cruise transfers, our minivan accommodates a maximum of six passengers with six large suitcases. Travel times within Amsterdam are difficult to predict and depend heavily on the destination, traffic conditions, roadwork, and local traffic restrictions.
